We are a group of individuals who believe that domestic and family violence is unacceptable.
Most of our group have personally experienced abuse or have worked with abused individuals / families, and wish to help others who are trapped to find a way to escape.
We are private, but we want to do our bit to help.
Sometimes the way to escape is not obvious or easy.
However, the experience of others might show a way.
Helping someone else can be a healing experience for both the helper and the person being helped.
The person who created this project is passionate, driven and has suffered domestic and family violence. She has also experienced hope and healing, and wants to assist others to do so.
The 100 Alice Stories support group are also private, but are active in their involvement in assisting the story tellers to publicise their experience as a means of helping themselves and others.
We do not receive government financial support, but are instead funding this from personal finance and not-for-profit.
